Meet The Author
Aimee Goodman
The author’s name is Aimee Goodman. She was born into an upper middle-class family in Garland, TX. She is the youngest of four siblings, with two older brothers and an older sister. When Aimee was two years old, her mom divorced her dad and married her stepdad, Perry Logan. Perry made all the children call him “pop”. Aimee’s mom and stepdad had another child, a daughter named Maureen Deann. Aimee fell in love with her as soon as her mother brought her home from the hospital and named her “baby D”. Aimee’s older sister Kathleen is her hero. Aimee went through a lot of stuff with her sisters and brothers during their childhood. This is Aimee’s story.
